Leah's father died in the mental hospital in Daugavpils in 1926. She and her mother lived in Vishki until he died, then moved to Riga after his death. Their financial circumstances were hard, and Leah was placed in a shelter at Ludzas Street 43 where she lived from Dec 30, 1926 to June 8, 1930. On Sept 19, 1933 she married to Mozus Levinson and the marriage was registered by Tuckums Rabbi Lewy Lichtenstein. The last known address for her in Latvia was Stabu Street 55, Apt. 8, from where she moved to Palestine. In 1936 she lost her Latvian citizenship as she had taken citizenship in Palestine.
