Melvin Shapiro With Stan

This is the mid to late 1930s in Vincennes. My dad Stanley is in white with his pony Nellie. His cousin Melvin Shapiro is riding. Those with sharp eyes will notice 'Dumes Auto Parts Vincennes, IN' painted on the truck. Given the long shadow in the original black and white version, I gave this more of an evening light tone. Dad once received a critical note on his grade card to his parents: 'Too much pony!', the teacher had written.
